The award winning "Gigalees Crazy Circus Show's" world premier at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival was a huge success, with sell out shows running throughout the month of August. Crowds from all over the world came to see the Gigalees at the Gilded Balloon, making the Gigalees one of the most popular kids shows out of the 100 kids shows at this years festival.

The Gigalees website was also running hot with over 25,000 hits in August alone with most hits coming from the UK then USA, Europe, Australia and many other parts of the world.

Along with the Gigalees international debut, the release of their brand new GIGALEES LIVE DVD in August was also a huge success. Taken from their 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival show, which won the award for "Best Kids' Show" at Comedy@Trades, this live DVD is available now through the Gigalees website.

With 2010 just around the corner, the Gigalees have got their sights set on continuing their world tours - hopefully making it to the USA, Canada, New Zealand and all other parts of the world where kids want a good belly laugh!

The Gigalees were a smash hit at their 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut! The Gigalees Crazy Circus Show, took out the "2009 Best Kids' Show" award at Comedy@Trades for the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Now stay tuned for the release of the Gigalees Crazy Circus Show LIVE DVD, taken at the Trades Hall at the 2009 comedy festival. The DVD released will coincide with the Gigalees international debut at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland during August.

Show Review

ThreeWeeks

Edinburgh Festival

The craziest things here are possibly the double-act's outfits, but then the double-act are pretty crazy themselves, in a zany sort of way. This is a brightly coloured, high energy performance in which the pair on stage barely pause for breath; Wilma and Daisy lead their audience enthusiastically through a series of clowning and circus tricks, during the course of almost an hour of classic slapstick, balloon models and juggling. The buffoonery may at times be predictable, but is still funny and gets laughs from parents as well as children. Mind, the dancing only goes well for the kids whose parents also get into the swing. This is a show high on energy, smiles, skill and laughter.

Feedback

May 2014 The children responded positively to the performance with laughter and lots of 'Oohs' and 'ahhs'. They were very impressed with the gymnastics and loved the 'slapstick' style. All said they enjoyed the show because it was different.
